Month: November 2014

I just joined the LTAC cheerleading team. I really like it. We have already learned two cheers and have had our tryouts. I made the cut of a team with no cut. Our coach has said that she will reconsider us going to competition, If we did that would be super cool. She also said that she will try to have us cheer at almost every basket ball game. It will be so cool.

Constitution Test

Today I retook the constitution test after school.  I got a 92% on it!!!!!! I am so happy that I was able to retake the test. Although if it was up to me… I would not retake it. My mom forested me to because she said that if I had the chance to raise my grades then I should. Before I took the test I didn’t agree with her at all. But now I completely agree.  When ever you have the chance to improve your grade make sure you DO. I am so much happier with my grade now that I have a better grade. My grade on it increased by almost by 20% and my grade increased by like 8% now I have a 94%.

A Long Week

This week is a long week. It is the only week in November where we have to go to school all five days. NOT FUN. And I also have 4 tests this week. I have my lesson 5 quiz in french on friday. A makeup french verb quiz after school on friday. My lyrical friday assignment on friday, where we have to come up with a song with what we are learning about in class, a mocktrial presentation thing on wednesday, I have to dress fancy and everything, I also have to do a worksheet  every single day in math because we have a sub. Don’t let me forget my biology. We have an egg/membrane experiment that will last couple days.  This is wear we put an egg in vinegar until the shell comes off, then in some type of syrup, then in water. Something is supposed to happen to the egg when the experiment is finished.  Thankfully next week is only a 2 day week, but let me tell you it is a LONG week.

Mid-Terms and Organization Skills

Sorry that I have not posted in awhile. I have been really busy with midterms. They are harder then they may sound, and they do sound pretty hard.  They are literally on everything that we learned that quarter. Let me tell you I did not do my best on them.  The only kind of good thing about them is the fact that the teachers didn’t give a lot of homework. But that was all replaced by studying. I did pretty good on them… I guess. I did pass my constitution test and score well on french. Although the average score I got was an 83%, I passed and I didn’t fail. I did get a 91% in writing!!!

Today In LTAC academy the LTAC counselor came in and took some of us to help us get more organized. I went down with about 6 or 7 other kids to help us organize. We had to take everything from our backpacks out, I mean EVERYTHING. I actually didn’t have a very messy backpack compared to most of the kids. One kid has an empty locker but has everything in his backpack. Then we had to put everything back in even more organized then it was. Then she wanted to look at our lockers… Mine wasn’t bad actually. She complemented me and said that it was a very fun but organized locker.
